What to Make of TabTrade - A New CFD Broker in 2026

TabTrade — What It Is

TabTrade went live in Q1 2026. Trading platform registered in Saint Lucia, under Saint Lucia's FSRA. The founder is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker.

That last detail is relevant. It suggests the leadership is not figuring it out from scratch. Does not guarantee anything. Still more reassuring than someone with no brokerage experience.

TabTrade came out of the gate with execution through Equinix servers. Same facilities prime brokers run on. Usually a new brokerage focuses on ads and sign-up promos. Tab Trade did the opposite. Unusual for a new broker.

The instrument list: forex, stock indices, gold, silver, oil, energies, softs, equities, crypto, exchange-traded funds. A wide spread. For a platform that is a few months old, that range is broad.

The Software

Available: MetaTrader 5, cTrader, and a WebTrader. Two major platforms from one account. Many commit to either MT5 or cTrader. Getting both is useful. You are not locked into one.

MetaTrader 5 is the industry standard. Complete charts, automated trading, massive community. If you have traded on MetaTrader before, it is familiar territory.

cTrader by Spotware is the more modern one. Better DOM. Smoother chart interaction. cBot support. A lot of traders like it better than MT5 after using both.

FIX API is there for algo traders but is only on the VIP account ($25,000 deposit). TradingView is said to be in the works. That should be a good addition once it is live.

Costs

Three levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard. 1.0 pip spreads. Zero commission. Straightforward. Zero deposit requirement. Suits anyone who does not want to think about commission.

Edge. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips average. Flat commission of $3.50 each way. What you actually pay: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On EUR/USD, the actual interbank spread is frequently under 0.2 pips. So your actual cost per trade sometimes sits under half a pip. That is hard to beat for a broker with $0 to start. Most platforms that offer pricing like this require a minimum deposit. This broker requires zero deposit.

VIP account. $25,000 minimum. FIX API, sub-20ms execution, custom pricing. Not something typical accounts. Do not worry about it unless you move real size.

Infrastructure

The speed is the thing Tab Trade separates from most new launches. Equinix servers in London. Execution below 30 milliseconds on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. That is not marketing fluff. The average platform quote 100ms to 300ms.

Does it matter? If you scalp, absolutely. The difference between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is profit or loss on tight trades. If you trade higher timeframes, you probably will not feel it. What matters is they invested in proper execution. That says they are not cutting corners on the tech.

Pair those fill times with raw spreads at $3.50 per side and the total package is strong. Hardly anyone with no minimum deposit have infrastructure at this level.

Regulation

Now, the thing you need to be straight about. Tab Trade is regulated by the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is outside tier-1 jurisdiction. No ASIC. No fund protection scheme. If the lack of tier-1 regulation is a problem for you, look elsewhere. Lots of FCA-regulated options out there.

However. The person running it built his career at BlackBull Markets, a tier-1 regulated broker. The server placement is expensive. Fly-by-night platforms do not pay for proper execution infrastructure. None of this replace tier-1 regulation. But be part of your decision.

The deal: you trade regulatory safety. In exchange: 1:1000 leverage, cheap spreads, $0 to start, fast fills. Whether that makes sense is your call.

Welcome Offer

TabTrade offers a welcome bonus of up to two thousand dollars. Usual deposit match. You put money in, TabTrade top up your balance. The normal fine print: trading volume requirements before you can withdraw the bonus. Read the conditions before you commit.
