TabTrade Overview - What to Know Before You Sign Up

The Broker — What It Is

TabTrade went live in Q1 2026. Trading platform registered in Saint Lucia, under the FSRA. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, the FMA-regulated broker.

The BlackBull connection is relevant. It suggests the leadership has actually done this before. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. It is preferable to a founder with no industry background.

They launched with Equinix data centre access in London. Same data centres institutional desks use. The typical new launch leads with marketing and bonuses. Tab Trade did the opposite. Unusual for a new broker.

What you can trade: forex, stock indices, gold, silver, commodities, shares, cryptocurrencies, exchange-traded funds. 1,000+. For a platform that launched in March 2026, that range is not narrow.

What You Trade On

They offer: MT5, cTrader by Spotware, and a browser platform. Two major platforms from one account. Many only give you one or the other. Access to both matters. Pick what suits your style.

MetaTrader 5 is the industry standard. Full charting, Expert Advisors, huge user base. If you have traded on MetaTrader previously, it is familiar territory.

cTrader is the alternative. Better depth of market. More responsive charts. Native automated trading. Plenty of traders prefer it after comparing.

FIX API is available for bots but requires the VIP tier ($25k minimum). TradingView is said to be in the works. That should be a good addition once it is live.

Accounts and Pricing

Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard account. Spreads from 1.0 pips. Zero commission. Simple. $0 to start. Works for people who want simple pricing.

Edge account. Interbank-style spreads from 0.0 pips average. Commission of $3.50 each way. What you actually pay: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On EUR/USD, the actual interbank spread is frequently under 0.2 pips. So your actual cost per trade sometimes sits below 0.5 pips. That is good for an offshore broker. Most platforms that offer pricing like this require a minimum deposit. Tab Trade has no minimum.

VIP account. $25,000 minimum. FIX API, sub-20ms execution, custom pricing. Not for the average person. Do not worry about it unless you move real size.

Infrastructure

This is where TabTrade separates from most new launches. Equinix servers in London. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Sub-20ms on VIP. Those are not marketing fluff. The average platform quote hundreds of milliseconds.

Does this affect you? For short-term trading, absolutely. The difference between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is catching the move or missing it. If you hold positions longer, it matters less. What matters is the setup is serious. That says what kind of broker this is.

Combine that execution speed with the Edge account pricing and what you get holds up. Hardly anyone in this bracket run Equinix connectivity.

Safety

This is the thing that requires honesty. The broker is licensed by Saint Lucia's FSRA. That is offshore. No CySEC. No government-backed safety net. If operating without FCA or ASIC oversight makes you uncomfortable, stop reading. There are tier-1 alternatives out there.

However. The person running it came from BlackBull Markets, a tier-1 regulated broker. The Equinix infrastructure costs real money. Fly-by-night platforms do not invest in Equinix connectivity. That does not replace tier-1 regulation. It does inform your assessment.

The trade-off: you give up tier-1 protection. What you get instead: 1:1000 leverage, cheap spreads, no minimum deposit, Equinix execution. Whether this deal is worth it depends on you.

Deposit Bonus

Tab Trade offers a welcome bonus of up to two thousand dollars. Usual deposit match. You put money in, the broker top up your balance. The normal fine print: trading volume requirements before bonus funds can be taken out. Check the terms before you commit.
